Description of Rotary Drum Flaker Dryer:

The Drum Flaker machine is including: frame support, electric motor, gear reducer, cooling drum, scraper knife, thickness adjustor, feeding hopper, discharging hopper, stainless steel dust cover etc.The parts in contact with material is stainless steel 304, the machine frame support is carbon steel with thermal spraying zinc. The drum and material trough is manufactured and inspected as per the GB2880-81 specification of Steel Vessel in normal pres-l sure, the machining, welding and assembling to be made according to the general condition of G/ZB74-73. G/ZB75-73. Q/ZB76-73. The drum will be done the water pressure test under 0.3MPA after finishing the manufacturing. The data after assembling: radial runout of drum<0.1mm, axial transmission at the range of ±0.2mm.The contact between scraper and drum should be even, the contact line will be not less than 80% of the whole length.There should not be bumping and abnormal noise when running. The outside shell of the drum should be treated by polishing.

It is widely used for drying or cooling slurry, paste, cream, solution materials in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, fertilizer, agrochemical industries and so on.

Rotary Drum Flaker

Structure description of Rotary Drum Flaker dryer:

1. Drum:

The diameter of the drum is 1.6m, and length is 2m. It has a two-layer structure, and is made of SUS304 stainless steel. The ends face adopt carbon steel head and outer is covered by SUS304. A guide groove is installed inside the interlayer of the drum. Cooling water enters the interlayer through the axis, and under the action of the guide groove, it evenly exchanges heat with the material through the inner wall of the drum, and cools the material.

2. Exhaust hood：

Adopting a fully enclosed hood. It is made of SUS304 stainless steel with an exhaust port on the top, the exhaust gas is discharged by an exhaust fan. The exhaust gas is treated by processes such as dust removal, odor removal, and absorption at the customer's discretion.

3. Scraper and product hopper：

The hopper adopts a screw conveying method, and the material is discharged on one side of the drum.

The scraper frame adopts an overall structure, and the tension of the scraper frame is adjusted using a screw handwheel using the lever principle at the two ends, ensuring the intermittency between the scraper and the drum. The scraper is made of an electrical board or PTFE board without damaging the drum.

4．Transmission system：

Adopting chain transmission. It is equipped with a gear reducer. The motor is regulated by inverter, which controls the speed between 0-15rpm

5. Material groove：

The inner wall is made of SUS304 stainless steel. The jacket is made of carbon steel and heated with thermal oil/steam (Cooled with chilling water). It is equipped with a liquid flow plate to prevent overflow of liquid material.

6．Control system

The control system is controlled by touch screen or button. The rotary speed is adjustable.
