Description of Fluid Bed Granulator:

Food and Pharmaceutical Fluidized/ Fluidizing/Fluid bed granulator is mainly used for the operations of mixing, granulating, drying of granule "Top Spraying", etc of powder material in pharmaceutical industry, foodstuff industry, chemical industry, etc. Such as granule of tablet, granule for quick resolving drinking, condiment.

The powder granule in vessel (fluidized bed) appears in the state of fluidization. It is preheated and mixed with clean and heated air. At the same time the solution of adhesive is sprayed into the container. It makes the particles become granulating that contains adhesive. Being of unceasing dry through hot air, the moisture in the granulating is evaporated. The process is carried out continuously. Finally it forms ideal, uniform and porous granules.

Raw material (free-flowing dry powder or small granules ) is loaded in the granulating bowl of which the bottom is made by
perforated plate. Clean hot air flows through the perforated plate to completely fluidized the material. Meanwhile, liquid binder is sprayed onto the fluidized material. Fine powder collides with droplets and stick together to form granules or agglomerates with good flowability and instant solubility.

Structure description of Fluid bed granulator

1. Inlet AHU
The inlet AHU consists of Primary filter(G4), Post filter (F8), high efficiency filter(H13 )and heater with accurate temperature control. The inlet air flow, speed and pressure is variable and controllable. For the heater , it can be steam radiator ,electrical heater , gas furnace and so on .
2. Main Body Structure
The main body structure consists of bottom bowl, movable product bowl with trolley , fluidized chamber, expansion chamber/filter housing. The bottom bowl, product container and fluidized chamber are inflatable silicon gasket sealed with compress air inspection sensor to assure the reliable sealing.
3. Product Filter
The double structured bag filter in two pieces (in case request, stainless steel filter available) is inflatable silicon gasket sealed between the expansion chamber inner surfaces with compress air inspection sensor to assure the reliable sealing. A dust sensor is mounted on the exhaust piping and interlocked from control sys to secure the product safety during processing stage.
4. Exhaust AHU
The exhaust dust collection filter is optionally designed for protect environment.
